Ecology

It lives in the intertidal and subtidal zones of reefs and coral reefs. It hides in cracks and holes in the rocks and eats animal matter.

Habitat

Miura Peninsula, Arasaki

It appeared smoothly on the reefs of Arasaki. It caught my eye because it moved differently from a fish. It is very cautious, and once it entered a hole it did not emerge for a while.

I finally managed to photograph it moving to another hole.

This is a species that can be seen quite often in Arasaki.
