Ecology

In winter, they migrate to rivers, lakes, and estuaries. It eats plant seeds and insects. When taking off, make a run-up on the surface of the water before taking off.

Habitat

It was swimming alone between Tufted Ducks in a pool on the left bank of the Tama River. I spent my time relaxing by grooming the feathers on my chest. No other individuals were found.
