This sea slug has a dark purple body and beautiful orange and blue-green lines on its lateral foot margins. It measures approximately 20mm in length. The lateral foot margins reflect light, appearing either green or blue depending on the light. The antennae become whitish toward the tip.
Found along the Pacific coast. There were many konohamidorigai near the specimen photographed, so the number of this species seemed small.
Found in shallow waters off Arasaki, about 2m deep. It appeared to be feeding alone. The blue-green color reflected beautifully under light.
