Tama River in Early Summer
A Zitting Cisticola was full of energy on the hot riverbed.
It was a very hot day, and not many wild birds were out. Zitting Cisticolas were flying around frequently.

There were many fruits on the Japanese Walnut tree. The fruits were about 4cm in size.
They were growing in clusters.

It was gathering nesting material, undeterred by the heat.

Narrowleaf Cattails were growing thickly on the waterfront.
Cabbage Bug
A Cabbage Bug was on a leaf.
It was facing downwards.
Lambsquarters
Lambsquarters was growing on the hot riverbed.
It's growing from between the stones.
The pink leaves are distinctive.
