I spotted an unusual Black-crowned Night Heron near the water.

I went to observe the waterfront in the morning. I found a Black-crowned Night Heron, which I don't usually see there.

A juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron was standing on a branch in the water where Red-eared Sliders were lined up. The Red-eared Sliders were looking up at the Black-crowned Night Heron.
