Characteristics
Flowers bloom from June to July. For Japanese people, it is a flower that has a strong impression of blooming in the rain during the rainy season. Decorative flowers such as white, purple, and blue develop greatly. Immediately after flowering, it is yellow or yellowish green, but it changes to blue or red as time passes.
The tree grows to a height of about 2 m and has glossy leaves. The leaves are oval in shape and have serrated margins.
Habitat
The Hydrangea Festival is held from June to early July every year at Kongo-ji Temple near Takahatafudo Station on the Keio Line. You can see many kinds of hydrangeas, including hydrangeas. You can find your favorite strain while enjoying the subtle color differences.
