A plant of the orchid family that produces small spiral inflorescences on long, slender stems. The direction of the spiral can be either right-handed or left-handed. The pink flowers are oriented horizontally on the stem.
Ecology
Flowers bloom in meadows and lawns from around May and June. Flowers attract bees and other insects to carry pollen.
Habitat
Sakaigawa
This photo was taken on a June morning in a grassy area along the Sakaigawa River. Small pink flowers were blooming among the weeds. I felt that the intensity of the pink color was slightly different depending on the location. The flowers arranged in a regular spiral pattern were beautiful.
