Komiyakoen Park to Yudono River

Swallows and house martins were flying around.

After strolling through Komiyakoen Park, I photographed swallows at Asakawa River and Yudono River. The temperature rose, and many butterflies emerged.

Many house martins were flying over Asakawa River. They seemed to have nests under the bridge and were diligently collecting nesting material and food.

Jumping Spider in Komiyakoen Park

Many *Marpissa pulla* (jumping spider) were out on the fences along the forest path in Komiyakoen Park.

A great egret flew over Yudono River.

A female common kingfisher was preening in a relaxed manner.

Swallows on the Power Line

Swallows were perched on the power lines along Yudono River. They were muttering something rapidly.

Swallowtail Butterfly Drinking Water

A *Papilio xuthus* (Asian swallowtail) was drinking water from the damp ground at Katakurajoshi Park.
