Characteristics

It lives on rocky reefs and coral reefs. It is often seen in sandy areas.
It preys on animal life such as small fish and crustaceans.
Habitat
Hachijojima Sokodo Beach
Photo taken at Sokodo Beach. It was a fairly large individual, about 50cm long. It was swimming around between the coral reef and the sand.
