Mt. Imakuma

I went to Mt. Imakuma to look for summer birds.

I entered Mt. Imakuma around 7:00 AM and observed summer birds. Just like last week, there were many blue-and-white flycatchers and narcissus flycatchers.

White-cheeked Starling

It seems that the invasive white-cheeked starling inhabits Mt. Imakuma quite a bit. They seemed to be plentiful not only on the forest roads but also along the roads leading to the forest.

It was foraging beside the road before entering the forest.

Narcissus Flycatcher

Narcissus flycatchers were everywhere in the forest. I also saw fierce fights between males.

It was singing in a very clear voice.
