I saw Oriental Reed Warblers and Zitting Cisticolas in the afternoon.
I took a walk along the riverbed under the Tama Ohashi Bridge, near Komiya Station on the Hachiko Line. Oriental Reed Warblers and Zitting Cisticolas were singing vigorously. There was a Skylark couple on the riverbank.
A male Skylark was hovering while singing. It continued for a minute or two, and I was impressed by its stamina.
A Meadow Bunting caught a green caterpillar.
There were Zitting Cisticolas everywhere in the bushes of the riverbed. They seemed to have territories, and were singing frequently while circling in the sky.
