Minami-Asakawa Town in the Early Morning

It was full of Japanese Bush Warblers.

I took a walk in Minami-Asakawa Town early in the morning. I saw a male Japanese Paradise Flycatcher, but couldn't get a photo. Birds that are "present but difficult to see," such as the Eastern Crowned Warbler and Japanese Bush Warbler, were also lively.

Japanese Bush Warbler

There were many Japanese Bush Warblers along the forest road. I could hear the "shishi shishi shishi" sound, but it was difficult to photograph them. I captured a moment when one came out of the bushes.

A pair came out for just a moment.

Singing Narcissus Flycatcher

A male Narcissus Flycatcher was singing energetically near the mountain pass.

It was perched on the tip of a branch.

Peppered Moth

While trying to photograph the Japanese Bush Warbler, an unfamiliar moth landed right in front of me.

It was staying still on the back of a leaf.

Narcissus Flycatcher with a Pure White Belly

I photographed a Narcissus Flycatcher head-on as it came out onto the road.
