The number of butterflies in the riverbed is increasing.
A female Common Kingfisher was in a pool near Owada Riverside Park. A cat emerged from the bushes nearby. Kingfishers often come to this spot.
Many Bull-headed Shrikes were out in the riverbed. A male and a female were perched on the same tree.
There was a Reed Bunting in the reed field upstream from Naganuma Bridge. It was difficult to get it to come out into an easy-to-photograph spot.
