Windy Tama River

Observed on a windy day. The birds were being blown around by the wind.

The wind was strong from morning, and the birds were being blown around. There were a fair number of birds, ranging from raptors to small birds.

Water Rail by the Water

I spotted a Water Rail in the same spot as yesterday by the water.

A Common Buzzard was being chased by crows.

There was a Dusky Thrush, the same individual I often see around the pond.

Eurasian Sparrowhawk

A Eurasian Sparrowhawk came flying in, buffeted by the strong wind. It perched on a branch near the pond.

It was quickly blown away by the wind and flew off.

I went to observe again in the afternoon. A Long-tailed Rosefinch made an appearance.
