I spotted a Grey-streaked Flycatcher in the fog.
I entered the forest at the foot of Mt. Imakuma early in the morning in a misty rain. Although the visibility was very poor, I could hear the birds singing well. A Lesser Cuckoo was singing at the entrance of the forest.
It was quite foggy on the way to the entrance of the forest.
I can hear the substation operating.
I found a Grey-streaked Flycatcher in the branches of a tree visible from the road next to the substation.
A Japanese Bush Warbler was in the same tree as the Grey-streaked Flycatcher.
A White-cheeked Starling perched on the fence next to the substation. I often see it in this location.
There was a large snail on the road.
The shell was over 3 cm in size.
The fog was even thicker inside the forest, and I could hardly see beyond 10 meters.
It was magical.
I heard the loud voice of a Blue-and-white Flycatcher in the forest. Fortunately, the thick fog seemed to prevent the flycatcher from seeing me well either.
I came out of the forest and returned to the point where I saw the Grey-streaked Flycatcher. A Narcissus Flycatcher had appeared.
A pair of Japanese Grosbeaks flew in and perched on a nearby branch.
An Asian Comma was sucking nectar from a thistle.
I found a Japanese Bush Warbler again.
After waiting for a while, the sun came out. Then, two Grey-streaked Flycatchers came out of the forest in the back and perched on a nearby branch.
I found a Japanese Caterpillar Hunter on the ground on my way back.
