It was a rather warm day for November.
I took a walk in Katakurajoshi Park and along the Yudonogawa River on a clear autumn day.
Hawfinches were in the grassy open space above the castle ruins park.
Several were singing near the fields.
Oriental Greenfinches were gathered on a branch.
Small flocks of Japanese Grosbeaks were flying from tree to tree within the park.
About 10 Chinese Bamboo Partridges were gathered at the graves.
When I went down to the Yudonogawa River, I saw Common Kingfishers and Little Grebes.
Some ducks came drifting smoothly down from the upper reaches of the river.
Eurasian Teals came as a pair.
