Yudonogawa River in Autumn

It was a rather warm day for November.

I took a walk in Katakurajoshi Park and along the Yudonogawa River on a clear autumn day.

Hawfinches were in the grassy open space above the castle ruins park.

There were more Japanese Grosbeaks, but there were also Hawfinches.

Several were singing near the fields.

Small flocks of Japanese Grosbeaks were flying from tree to tree within the park.

About 10 Chinese Bamboo Partridges were gathered at the graves.

When I went down to the Yudonogawa River, I saw Common Kingfishers and Little Grebes.

Eastern Spot-billed Duck

Some ducks came drifting smoothly down from the upper reaches of the river.
