I was able to see many wild birds in the pond and park.
I went to Shakujii Park for observation at the end of January. It was a cloudy day, but many birds appeared.
A Black-crowned Night Heron was preening on the edge of the pond.
A Japanese Bush Warbler appeared near the water.
A Northern Pintail came quite close.
A Little Grebe was also swimming.
A Eurasian Grosbeak came down to the water's edge.
It was a dignified individual.
I heard the voice of a Japanese Green Woodpecker and when I looked for it, it had its head stuck in a hole.
There was a Naumann's Thrush under the tree.
